About the Author Alexa Berry is originally from Lyon, France, a city renowned for its gastronomy and in more ancient times for its silk manufacturing. Historically, Lyon has been associated with foods and in more recent times with Paul Bocuse, awarded Chef of the Year in 2012 by the Culinary Institute of America. This environment coupled with a Mother who was a keen cook has always influenced Alexa’s love of good foods. Alexa studied economics and business in Lyon and over a period of 25 years had the opportunity to develop a fulfilling career in banking. Starting in Lyon, she then worked in Paris, Brazil, the Netherlands and the Republic of Ireland. For the last few years, she has dedicated herself to her family and writing this book.
